Signalyze ("we", "our", "us") operates the signalyze.io website and related services. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
We believe in collecting only what we need, being transparent about how we use it, and giving you control over your information.
Data We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in via a third-party provider (e.g. Google), we receive your name and email from that provider.
Usage Data
We collect anonymous analytics about how you use Signalyze — pages visited, features used, search queries, and time spent. This helps us understand which features are valuable and where to improve.
Technical Data
We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system when you visit our site. This is standard for all web services and helps us ensure compatibility and security.
We do not collect financial account information, brokerage credentials, or trading history. Signalyze never has access to your investment accounts.
How We Use Your Data

Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Signalyze. Each has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data:
Supabase
Database hosting and authentication. Your account data and event history are stored in Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases.
Anthropic (Claude AI)
AI analysis engine. News article text is sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. No personal user data is included in these requests.
Vercel
Application hosting and analytics. Vercel processes requests and may collect performance metrics and anonymous usage data.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.
Anonymous, aggregated analytics data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely to improve the service.
AI-generated event analyses are retained as part of the public Signalyze database and are not linked to individual users.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA):

Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls limiting who can access production databases. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Signalyze is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Signalyze after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
